My Red Borderlands 2 Custom Nerf Paintjob!

Hi everybody! Today I will be talking about something a little different. All you Borderlands 2 and  Nerf fans out there are in luck because I have just finished a red Nerf Borderlands 2 rifle! If you would like to make this replica, here are the things you will need:

Nerf Parts:

1. A clear Nerf Recon CS 6

2. A Nerf Specter barrel

3. An Alpha Trooper dart drum

4. And a minimized Recon CS 6 stock

Paints:

1. Red Spray paint

2. Silver Spray paint

3. Black Spray paint

4. Silver acrylic paint

5. White acrylic paint

Supplies:

1. masking tape

2. clear sticker paper ( This is optional but I think it looks cool with the logo)

So now we have everything we need. Once you have your Nerf parts assembled, lay down some newspaper and put tape over the parts that you don't want to be painted. Put a Nerf part on the paper and cover it with a coat of red spray paint, then you want to go over that with a dusting of silver spray paint and after that a dusting of black.  Do this process on all of your Nerf parts.  This next part is optional: to minimize your stock, you need to punch out the metal pins on the part of the stock that connects the stock to the gun. Then unscrew the screws on the middle piece of the stock that holds your extra clip and put that piece to the side. After that, saw a straight line through the two bars right where the middle piece was, then put super glue or epoxy on the bars and slip the front piece onto the bars and wait for it to dry. So by now your paint on your other Nerf pieces have dried and you are done with Spray paint. You can do some accenting with white and silver acrylic paint and maybe print out some logos on some clear sticker paper.

That raps up today's Nerf tutorial. I'll show you some pictures of my finished result:
